Environmental Policy

We recognise that we have a responsiblity to the environment and are committed to reducing our environmental impact.

  • All our packaging is biodegradable and eco-friendly.
  • We endeavour to have our unused ingredients collected by 8th plate or Fare share south west
  • We have local deliveries of fresh fruit and vegetables for our crêpe fillings.

  • To cut down on food miles we try to use on-site approved wholesalers when available
  • We try to only order the power supply we need
  • We use gas for cooking and heating to save on electricity, it's more efficient
  • Buy a+ rated, low energy kit when replacing old equipment
  • We use low energy light fittings on our pitch - they use up to 90% less power than conventional atleternatives
  • We endeavour to get our staff, our unit and stock to events in two vehicles.
  • We try to ensure all of our waste products are recycled or composted and our staff use reusable water bottles and mugs.

We have supported the charity Fare share south west since 2009. They redistribute surplus food to organisations working with disadvantaged people in the community, aiming to minimise food going to waste as landfill.
